A Model Railroad Systems Architecture

This clinic takes a somewhat non-traditional look at designing a model railroad. Borrowing some concepts from a graduate-level class in Systems Engineering Architecture, the author shows how using a top-down approach to a model railroad design might very well save you some effort and expense by identifying and solving system-level design issues before you begin construction. Think of it as a more formal “needs and druthers” view of model railroad design. This clinic is meant to be an interactive, and hopefully lively discussion.
